amphitheatralisch an den \u00f6stlichen H\u00e4ngen des gr\u00fcnen <strong>Mavrovouni<\/strong> erbaut, einem wundersch\u00f6nen Ort zwischen <strong>Kissavos<\/strong> und <strong>Pelion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Der \u00f6rtlichen Tradition zufolge wurde er nach einem <strong>jahrhundertealten Erlenbaum<\/strong> in der Gegend benannt. Das Dorf liegt 57 km von <strong>Larissa<\/strong> und 30 km von <strong>Agia<\/strong> entfernt und hat eine st\u00e4ndige Bev\u00f6lkerung von nicht mehr als 110 Personen. Die Einwohner sind haupts\u00e4chlich in der Landwirtschaft, Viehzucht und Forstwirtschaft t\u00e4tig.<\/p>\n<p>Die Kombination aus <strong>Bergen und Meer<\/strong> macht <strong>Sklithro<\/strong> zu einem idealen Reiseziel f\u00fcr <strong>Naturliebhaber. <\/strong>Besucher k\u00f6nnen sich an den Kristallquellen von <strong>Trani Vrysi<\/strong>, <strong>Kardara<\/strong>, <strong>Sykia<\/strong> und <strong>Bourboulithra<\/strong> erfrischen. Das Dorf hat eine bemerkenswerte Kirche und eine Kapelle. Rakopotamos bietet zwei gro\u00dfe Sandstr\u00e4nde und einen dritten, separaten <strong>FKK-Bereich<\/strong>. Im Sommer k\u00f6nnen ihr tags\u00fcber eine <strong>Sonnenliege und einen Sonnenschirm<\/strong> an der <strong>Platsa Ploutsa Beach Bar<\/strong> mieten.
